Just received and noticed a blemish on the hot plate. Looks like some of the protective coating chipped off? Should this be a cause for concern? Would a replacement request be done through Massdrop or Technivorm since it looks like something that occurred during shipping?

bdr828They are all handmade, so this is unfortunate, but understandable. It's the baked-on protective coating. I'd contact Technivorm to see what they say. If it was me, I'd likely seek a replacement, because you'll have this for a long time
