Headfonics review of the T5

"Sound-wise there is a level up in detail and upper-frequency presence with the T5 but at the cost of harshness. However, this only occurs at high volume levels. There is also some added spaciousness to the staging which is a plus."
Very, very bright at first. But I let them burn in for about 200 hours, changed the tips to Spinfit, and now they're very good. Solid, punchy bass; a bit recessed mids compared to previous Tins; sparkly but not harsh treble.
LordBorgGotta admit Spinfits for me have become my favorite over even Xelastec.
Xelastec is still the best but if you’re laying down on pillow 10 hr a day with them on they’ll deform and have to buy new pair every few months…
I love the T5, I think it is an excellent IEM and a solid upgrade from the T4. The fit is great, very comfy even for a chunky shell. Bass heft is nice for a Tin but still retains details and resolution. Mids body is lovely and the tone and timbre is wonderful. Treble is well controlled, could use a tad more air presence but it is fine, very pleasing. Stage is wide enough with excellent depth and layering. Don’t trust the reviews on these, they’re mostly a joke and all over the place — like they’re all reviewing different products. These are very fine-sounding IEMs. I’ll have a full review out on my new review site later this week and will provide a link here for whoever’s interested. Ignore these at your peril is all I’ll say for now.
Yeah after waiting like five years to get the package you won’t care about what’s in the package anyways, they should just start shipping out empty boxes because after waiting for a whole decade to get your package why would you even care anymore, you’re living an entirely different life probably in a different dimension/plane of existence at that point.
