When you think of Swiss automatic watches, Tissot comes to mind right away. In business since 1853, the company has a knack for making impressive timepieces that can be passed down for generations Read More
I ordered the T1004301103100 (white face, red seconds hand, steel bracelet). Been wearing it around the house and when we go out to run errands to keep it moving.
I love this watch. It rides easy on the wrist, definitely doesn't feel like you're wearing a 42mm watch most of the time. The slightly domed face easily tucks under shirt sleeves. The dark gray/black bezel provides some contrast so the face isn't all steel while the red seconds hand provides a nice color against the white face. The face itself appears to be almost a fabric type material with scalloped 1/4 circles, which provides some nice depth and gives off some color variation depending on the light. The red band under the bezel is a nice touch and is seen from most angles.
One other thing that I found interesting about this piece is that the date clicks over right at midnight - there's no slow scroll to the next day, it just clicks right over.
Some things to keep in mind if you're planning to purchase this particular model down the road:
This particular model is quite heavy - mine is ~177 grams with 3 links removed
Each link weighs about 7 grams, so full loaded, you're damn near a half pound watch
Lume is, well, pathetic at best - if you're looking for something that will be good in the dark, this is not it
Markers are floated above the hands - so the hands all run under the hour markers, it's a different setup that some people may not like
In the end, after wearing this watch for a few weeks, I decided that I liked it enough to get a different color variation (the black carbon fiber version with the rubber strap and blue accents (T1004303720100 listed here I believe)) from JS for a slightly lower price after coupon. I haven't put any miles on it yet though but will post a review and photos when I do.
JoysimathNICE!! Looks like it turned out great!!
Your last cut was a little better than mine, mine came in at an angle, but I figured that would just give me more wiggle room.
My wrist is also 6.75" (with the tape loosely around the wrist).
If you ever want to try again (or you gain weight or whatever), I found that these guys seem to have the strap in stock:

Cheers and congrats!!
After you have had it on for a few days, could you see if yours is gaining/losing time? Mine is gaining 6 to 10 seconds a day.
I was quite surprised when this first came in, and it was lighter than my Tissot Tradition Open Heart with the same Powermatic 80 movement. The rubber band is very comfortable, and fits the aesthetic of the watch down to the fine details. The inside of the band even looks like a tire tread, Ha!

The day readout has an option to affix 1-7 in red in front of the day, as if you are shifting gears throughout the week & Sunday is in red, time to slow down! I really like the depth to the face, where the hands all tick under the hour marks.

I can't help but nerd out about this watch, wore it out driving last weekend in the mountains and all felt right in the world.

One final thickness comparison picture vs my tradition. You really do pay for the depth effect on the face of this watch, considering the actual movement thicknesses are identical:
Pretty decent watch got it because i like carbon fiber and the price was good. Had an issue with it when i got it was a bit of a hassle to get it fix thru local warranty but in the end it worked out.
It's the first watch I ever bought. When I first unboxed it, it seemed a little large (I have a small wrist), but after wearing it for a few minutes I started to love the watch.
It's confortable, looks good, and after two days I see a maximum +1 second offset. I just hope this precision will last :)
