so there was a nibble of 1 committed and then they got shy. I thought this was gonna have some takers. Serious question - what's the problem? Seems like a deal???
Bob13013I definitely couldn't speak for other people but if I buy a new car I tend to get a battery as well. Maybe throwing in a battery at this price might persuade people.
It is $800 anywhere else the cheapest you can find it...so $700 is tempting....seriously thinking about this one...I own an E Maxx and would love to have an X Maxx.....
Price in comparison to Tower and RC Planet isn't too bad. Seems 'street price $800, so $699 if there were enough people isn't a bad deal. The delivery date is a bit of a wait though.

MSPR is wrong, never seen it that high any where, even when it came out from traxxas. You can get one with two lopos and a charger for $950 from traxxas.
This description should be updated ASAP. The X-Maxx WILL NOT do 50 mph out of the box. It goes about 32mph out of the box. I own this model and I have GPS tested it. I installed an 18-tooth pinion (purchased separately) that allows my X-Maxx to go over 42mph, checked by GPS.
garage_logicianI have two sets of SPC Racing 5000mah 3S 50C batteries. I get about 25 minutes of run time, or 15-20 if I run it hard with lots of full throttle passes.
