You know, when you don't actually have to stock the watches you offer, and it's the weekend and nobody is in the office anyway, all it takes to drop another watch into the site's current selection, is the push of a few buttons on a phone app. It's so easy you can probably do it from the bathroom during your morning sit-down. You don't even have to worry if the watch you selected this AM is ugly, sold poorly the last time, and got miserable reviews--whatever--just push any random button and get back to TikTok right?
Hey--don't forget to wash your hands--there's still no app for that!
RayFWhere are the miserable reviews? I see two people with boot sized IQ's on MD's review page, and the only other one I can find is a relatively comprehensive video review that's pretty positive.
And ugly is subjective. I dig the design. I just have other things I need to spend my money on right now, so this one I have to skip unless it sells really slowly and the one I want is still here in a month.
fishstickxxxDid you click on the reviews tab? One person accusing the acrylic crystal of being "mineral crystal that looks like plastic" and the other is just a badly written complaint that their watch doesn't work with no context.
I've been looking for more online reviews and the only video one I can find on it is that it's a nice watch, made well.
I'm personally tempted. But I just got my glycine combat sub bronze in the mail and we need to finish setting up our guest bedroom, so I have to pass.
I have a feeling they raised the price since the last drop, comments from January say it was near the KS price, this is like 70 or 80 over at 240 from what I can see, or do I have it wrong?
GatorAvalancheAcrylic you can polish out the scratches if they get them, mineral glass you cannot. Of course it also scratches very easily, so it's a toss up. Plexi and acrylic are coming back into fashion, you can shape the crystal into domes or box styles much more easlily than sapphire, so get that vintage look. You can find saphires with box domes, but usuallly expensive, like the Oris Diver 65 for instance...
Well, got mine yesterday.
Love the dial, black outer ring and light inner one look cool.
Don't like acrylic , but not the biggest problem.
Strap is utter crap.
I got mine with the black one, and it feels like cheap plastic. Needs to be replaced with something much better.
One more note, if the watch was a little heavier , and case was polished, then it would look so much classier.
Would have loved this if the hours and minutes disks had moved counterclockwise. Now because they don't, the scales have a backward feel.
Love the styling though!
