Established by a group of sound engineers, Tripowin prides itself in making Hi-Fi products that excel in sound quality. The TP10 IEMs are just that Read More
If we wanna look at KZ, doesn't the AS10 have a more comparable driver configuration? Either way, the ZS10 may have a worse graph but I haven't decided to drop any money on those either so I think I'll keep it that way with these.
jakob.sYes, you are right. I wrote that ages ago and most of the time when people think or thought of KZ they probably thought of the ZS10.

The Tripowin should have better high-mid/high extension and less bass. A smoother sound signature it seems overall especially when comparing the steep 15 db rise between 1k and 3k on the AS10 compared with the more gradual slope of 500hz to 2.7k on the TP10.
The Tripowin is however, definitely more bright so it looks more like a bright-more neutral V while the AS10 is more like a generic V shape.
The AS10 has a peak that doesn't stick up as much as the ZS10 and so neither TP10 or AS10 should sound as peaky as the ZS10 and the sub-bass extension + slightly more air on the AS10 will enhance the AS10's V-shaped-ness.
Both graphs are both very similarly tasteful with my preference leaning towards the TP10 for that slight high extension and smoothness. However the AS10 whilst slightly less smooth is not necessarily peaky and I wouldn't call either sibilant.
Bob3600The bl-03’s have a very engaging and cohesive sound signature whereas these are a far cry from anything of the sort. Also, Sunday is a great day to marathon-listen to music before attacking the work week again come Monday, so why not?
I generally shy away from anything with more than 3 drivers. I did buy a 5 driver IEM once from aliexpress...it was a complete mess of a headphone, unusable.
TaiwwaTry the CCA 16 (8x2 BAs) or CCA C16 (7x2 BAs + 2xDD) from KZ on AliExpress. Although a bit more expensive, you get much better value for money. I personally own the CCA 16 and the accuracy is quite good. Wait for a sale to use AE's discount coupons as well to drive the cost down further.
Read several reviews. For the most part, the central theme was too harsh and sibilant. Of course, we all have our own special hearing .. and some could find it pleasing. For the larger portion, this will probably be a pass. No matter how low cost an item is, there should be some value provided. But again, to each his own. I only know my likes.
(If you happen to want the blue with no mic, Linsoul has it for $35.10 on Amazon US as of 7-8-20 12:33 pm cst.)
Its amazing that something with this technology feature set can be offered for $25.
yet may still be making a small amount of margin?
Makes you wonder on a set of $500+ IEM, take away the inflated msrp and overhead, what is the actual component costs and manufacturing costs?
PotatoRawrI said component and manufacturing costs and not r&d or any other inflationary value. R&D can be anything from mom to Andrew Jones endorsing it...
I’m gonna roll the dice with these. I’ve watched reviews and looked at measurement charts. At $25 even if they aren’t the end all be all the tips alone are sold for half the price of the entire package.
