The Ultimate Ears 5 Pro IEM is a richly tuned pair of earphones with a focus on even, detailed sound and a unique approach to frequency crossover. Each earphone features a pair of balanced armature drivers that, together, cover a wide range of the spectrum—and because UE has built in a unique frequency crossover system, these drivers work together seamlessly to provide an excellent response at every point on the impressive 5-Hertz-to-22-kilohertz frequency spectrum range. The 5 Pro has also been designed with excellent isolation, tamping down ambient noise naturally to the tune of about 26 decibels. For out-of-the-box, on-theg-o listening, the 5 Pro ships with a waterproof connection system and UE’s SuperBAX cable that’s been built with lasting durability in mind.
