TheJokerVery late but I got a reply for you. Personally I use the fenestrated sheep skin and they are very comfortable for me. I used the stock velure ones for a while but they're very noisy for me as I wear glasses and the material rubs them. I found especially when you brake the sheep skin a bit they only get more comfortable as they age, can't say the same for the velure.

TheRequiemYes, all of the HD6xx family share the same housing and pads for the head back and cups are all interchangeable.

Is there any plan to improve the quality of these, I was thinking about buying them. However, it doesn't make sense to replace the earpads every year if you have to break them in anyway.

I just received the velour version of this product. One thing I am confused about it this: inside the box, there is no foam to replace the foam that goes in the middle section of where the oval is, so that I would be able to discard my stock foam and replace it with fresh foam. How come there is no such foam in my product box? And where am I supposed to get that foam from, exactly?
