smokemonFor me it's worth it.
I listen to music far more on the go than at home and these can be used either way, especially if you live in an apartment.
I have an LG v60 for most on the go listening and the Aurender Flow for cafes or at home.
The difference between $500 and over $1000 /totl is noticeable for even an amateur audio guy. Granted, I don't own THIS iem rather the Lime Ears Aether essential and Noble K10ua but the idea is the same.
Unfortunately, I am stuck with a dozen inferior but good iems I got along the way to this realization. So if you are heading down this path, bite the bullet and go all in.
Monitor-8Interesting. I purchased an IPX cable from Drop - the IPX connector was built wrong and damaged my UE18+ and UE repaired them out of warranty for free - even going as far to ship them back to me overnight with no charge. I don't know which division you were in contact with - but their Pro side are attentive and great to work with.
Hey guys buy em up enjoy them.Forty years ago my home system was over 10k and people thought i was crazy.Bottom line at my age I’m not sure if exspensive ear phones would be a good for me.I’ll be looking at hearing aids soon.Enjoy the music with the best you can afford
tfcheungHonestly it's quite subjective. However from my own experience with 18 pro and ue live, I would say ue live isn't for audiophiles but more for performers. Though I don't really like UE's house sound so take my comment with a pinch of salt.
YeeksterYup. Not sure what the differences are except you don't get a custom fit, which is kind of the point of buying Ultimate Ears in the first place. You ask a valid question about the price difference though. I'm wondering the same thing.
ARE YOU KIDDING ME DROP?? I was requested they'll re-open ordering this IEM. And then I received e-mail that was re-opened. But click the link, ORDER WAS CLOSED. WHAT THE HELL OF THIS IS???
