Be aware, UE has trash customer support. I bought UE900s from DROP before. It failed within warranty period, so I asked for warranty repair, they did not repair it and they told me that they will replace it with Jbird earphone which was around $200 vs UE900s $400. When they were actually selling UE900s on their website. So I told the customer rep that they are selling in on their website, so they should have stock. Their lame excuse was that Customer Service (Warranty) Stock and Sales stock are different, so they cannot replace mine.
Fortunately, DROP was very very kind enough to replace my UE900s (actually twice!! I love DROP) with their limited stock availability, so I ended up getting it replace. But who knows how it will turn out if yours fail.
poorvocalistUE900 and UE900s are both god awful in terms of build and durability...I am lucky to still have a pair of working UE900 from 2013 though the black paint is already chipped away a long time ago, but a lot of them didn't fair anywhere near as well. Let them be a lesson on how NOT to make earphones.
The only thing that they offer as an explanation for the additional $200 for the UE-11Pro is that it includes "feel."
Seriously, wtf? For $900 a little more than just saying that something has "punch" and "feel" ought to be provided.
Hi! LEt me respond top down - treble - definitely polite and rolled off but enought for electronic genres (I myself am a huge electronic music fan) - no sibilance at all. I have them as mentioned in custom form and too harsh treble would kill them for me - they are just the right amount, free of fatigue. Bass - it's funny to describe it - as it's full and round very unlike a BA. So you get the speed of a BA and the warmth and nice deep bass of a dynamic with these. I don't think these are basshead level - but they put a few smiles on your face for sure. I remember the MA750s - had them for a time before selling them. Liked them too but as the T10 they had a bit much treble. These are a completely safe bet.
koolpepThanks for the info. These certainly do look very interesting and will go for a custom version of these sometime in the future. At this price point, I think I feel like I have to go custom for that comfort and seal.
nnargunHi all, sorry for this! We'll work to have the issue fixed by early next week and extend the promotion to give everyone the opportunity to purchase.
WILLxLOVEThey’re not. UE’s are only marginally better than JH Audio products. Both companies stopped innovating years ago and continue to sell tired products to old people for jacked up prices based mostly on marketing hype and past laurels. Far surpassed across all fronts by chifi these days. Campfire Audio also in danger of being left behind (and way, way overpriced), but at least they continue to come out with somewhat interesting products now and then.
RicghiIt will just say the model name of whatever IEM you ordered. I ordered the UERR 2 drops ago and it just says "handcrafted for: REFERENCE REMASTERED"
Got the UERR from last drop and it came with IPX connection and the SuperBax cable. So yes, this is the latest version. Fit is immaculate with mine but I do need to switch to the smallest ear tip just because of how deep the nozzle goes (normally I use medium size). If you don't want to shell out for custom fit, I would say the universal housing can already get you pretty close to that.
