I actually ended up buying an Arkhive locally and found that the 80 card sidewinders can be fit into it standing up as well. This is counter to what The Professor demonstrated in his review of the Arkhive, I wonder if they changed the design slightly? I will say that the sidewinders seem to bulge the sides on the arkhive a bit, but it doesn't really affect anything. Either way I ended up keeping my sidewinders in a Superhive and my Arkhive stores bulk cards in Boulders.
Z_DollyIf I remember correctly, there was one batch of Arkhives that were slightly off from spec. It was fixed in later runs. Pretty much anything Ultimate Guard should be able to fit in the Arkhives. Everything is designed to work together creating a nice ecosystem for UG products.
I have one of these, and recommend it. I use it to hold all of my Boss Monster (https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/131835/boss-monster-dungeon-building-card-game) cards, plus instructions and counters/dice for the game. I put each 'set' (Boss Monster & Boss Monster 2) in a deck box, and then have the expansions and promos sleeved but loose and segregated. It works great to organize, protect, and easily transport the game (and takes less shelf space than the original boxes).
This price is a few dollars better than Amazon ($53.16 for two + tax) or other OLGS outlets (e.g. CSI is $55.98 for two, no tax), so it's a decent deal.
hulsvilleDepends on the person. Personally I use them because I don't label my deck boxes and I prefer not to rummage through 12 deck boxes trying to figure out which is which. I put them in a specific order, and unlike a bag or other loose container, they stay in said order.
These are kind of hard to find. Or at least were hard to find. I think I paid close to 50 dollars for one around a year ago. It is high quality build and fits the 80-card leather Ultimate Guard deck boxes too. You can have a really slick setup with these.
What kind of sleeves are those red bordered w/ clear/matte center in the one photo displayed? They look like hard cased sleeves? I like the look and the way they fit into the cases. Can I get them on amazon?
