What's the difference between and iOS and an Android mic?

Hertxz3.5mm (with mic) jacks use "rings" for different channels. Historically, everything used the order of: Left-Right-Ground-Mic , while Apple used L-R-M-G (switching ground and mic). That also continued with Android, so you had this difference where Android earbud mics didn't work on iOS and vice versa. In recent years Android and others changed their standard to L-R-M-G, matching Apple. (TRRS standards on Wikipedia) Not sure why there's a distinction here, all of the big phone makers now use the same TRRS standard so there shouldn't be an incompatibility at all. Maybe smaller, lower-end makers still use L-R-G-M.

Just tried out, Germany and Spain, both 20€ shipping buying 1, 40€ buying 2 different. At the end for this exact model it's 6€ cheaper on drop.
