Equipped with a Swiss-made movement, the automatic Victorinox Ambassador Clous de Paris is fitted with a tachymeter and chronograph, offering excellent functionality. Appointed with polished and applied hour markers, the dial features three subdials, plus lumed hands and lumed pips at the hour positions. Knurled pushers at the 2 and 4 o’clock positions adorn the brushed stainless steel case, and a crown at 3 o’clock controls the time and date.
Note: This drop is limited to 110 units.
The Ambassador Clous de Paris is equipped with an ETA Valgranges A07.211 automatic chronograph movement, a larger movement designed to accommodate oversize watches. This self-winding 24-jewel movement offers hacking seconds and a 46-hour power reserve, and vibrates at 28,800 beats per hour. The watch comes with a date window at 3 o’clock, and it offers a peek at this lesser-known movement via display caseback.
Fitted with chronograph functionality, the Ambassador Clous de Paris features three subdials: a 30-minute timer at 12 o’clock, a 12-hour timer at 6 o’clock, and a subsidiary seconds hand at 9 o’clock. A large red seconds hand on the main dial serves as the 60-second chronograph timer, which can be controlled by engaging the pusher at 2 o’clock. Another tap of this pusher stops the chronograph, while a tap on the pusher at 4 o’clock resets the chronograph. In conjunction with the 120-click unidirectional bezel, the tachymeter is helpful in measuring speed and calculating distance.
