For signature tube warmth to drive any pair of headphones, the MT-601 features a 6N11/E88CC tube for its pre-amp stage and transistors for a Class A buffer with plenty of output power. For extra analog magic, this compact headphone amp also houses enthusiast Japanese ELNA SILMIC(II) coupling capacitors for overall transparency and sweetness, plus Japanese RUBYCON main filter capacitors for smooth and warm-sounding high-end frequencies. Made from matte-finished aluminum alloy and outfitted with a large volume knob, the MT-601 also comes equipped with a line out, so you can use it as a pre-amp for a wide range of audio equipment, including active speakers or other amps.
