sneakeyboarddepends on which switch you have, you can problem film all of these switches except for the aqua zilent, which has really tight tolerances and doesn't need filming since it's supposed to be quiet.
I received my batch yesterday (Zilents 67g) even though Asendia still says it's somewhere in New Jersey. I live in Canada. I'm pretty happy with them, although I wish some of them were lubed, I think that would have made them phenomenal. I may do that at some point. Also I wouldn't even attempt to get these switches without lubing stabilizers (and clipping and all that stuff) Rattling stabilizers kill the whole experience (especially if you want a silent keyboard). Now that I've taken care of the stabilizers I'm very happy with my keyboard.
esfandiarhmmm interesting... I got the TKC olivia stabilizers from novelkeys and they don't seem to have any rattling.
I'm very happy with the stabilizers. I lubed both the stabilizers and the switches, as described in that fancy website with a lubing walk-through (top clack...I think)
Dunno how clipping helps but I just ran across the video showing what films do and the thought of doing something over 60 times again is almost as discouraging as applying lubes. Wish I had known about films before lubing.
Drop provided this update via email indicating it could be up to 30 days before we either get another update about the delay or see our products ship. That’s what I take from the message anyways
