Pre-Ordered a set of aqua zilents (the very first batch). The leaves were loose.. on part with the Gat Ink loose leaf saga. Had to throw away all of them :( Super disappointed. So, I am very curious.. are these the "NEW NEW" batch like "Gat ink v2" that vendors are now selling. Or are they just clearance of the crappy ones.

I mean I'm glad they were retooled but why would you need to throw them away because of loose leaves? It affects nothing unless you're opening them up, and even then, you just push them back in if they come out. I'm baffled as to how this was an insurmountable problem for you.

So why would I want to get them from Drop and not the Zeal Website? They're cheaper on there since it's also a group buy. Curious.

Damn I placed an order for Aqua Zilents and didn't bother to check Zeal site for a comparison on price. Says it ships in April... I would probably get it way sooner for a little pricier of a cost than from Drop. Guess I didn't learn from my time trying to get Roselios back in October and having to get my order cancelled from Drop in January due to delay...

Oof.. yeah, they shipped out from zeal pretty quick (first come first serve basis) but I find that most drops here are delayed because of the quantity ordered. It's easier to get an idea of what you want here then going out and finding the item from the actual vendor.

I ordered 67g aqua. How this will do vs Moded Gateron Brown with 60g spring? Will it be much harder or barely noticeable?

The Aqua Zilents will feel 200% more awesome than the Browns, both in terms of tactility and smoothness. 67g is the sweet spot for a lot of people in terms of weight for tactile switches :)

The only difference between these and their original counterparts is the color correct?

Both Aqua Zilents and Turquoise Tealios have an improved housing for smoothness compared to previous iterations of the switches (Tealios and Zilents). Roselios and Sakurios can be comparable to Healios aside from the different colored stem.

I'm sure most of you know and not sure if anyone else has mentioned this yet but because drop is known for their ALT and CTRL keyboard, note that these have plastic stabilizer pins that are not compatible out of the box. You will need to snip these two stabilizer pins (two plastic pins on the underside) because they are not compatible (I believe this is called plate mounted). If you snip these, be careful and probably good to wear eye protection (they go everywhere and fast!).

That is correct! Some hotswap PCBs have the 2 additional pins to accommodate PCB mount switches but the ALT and CTRL do not. I would recommend using a flush cutter!

Will these switches work with this board? https://drop.com/buy/melgeek-mojo60-ember-bluetooth-mechanical-keyboard/talk#discussions I ordered both versions, one with Gateron Blues and one with Gateron Yellows.

Looks like the keyboards are Kailh hot-swappable so the switches should fit. You'll have to clip the plastic stems at the bottom each switch to fit them into the board but that's not hard to do. Just be prepared to have tiny pieces of plastic flying everywhere. Wear some eye protection, use wire clippers or a nail cutter, and clip it in an area that's easy to clean up.

Yes, though the switches may need to be clipped like what @lotustiger said. Most modern and recent hotswap PCBs have the 2 extra holes to accommodate PCB mount switches though.

I am not sure if this is the best place to post this, but I am curious if anyone else is having an issue with their order (mine arrived Monday). I have the Massdrop CTRL with the SA-P Snow Cap keycaps and Aqua Zilents (62g). I noticed that any switch that has stabilizers doesn't return back to the original position. Backspace, enter, left shift, right shift, and the space bar all get stuck. Since I have the CTRL, I took out my new Aqua Zilents (62g) and put other ZealPC switches in their place. I didn't have this issue with Rosalios (67g), Zilents (67g), or Zilents (78g). Is anyone else experiencing a similar issue? Thanks!

I personally don't own a Massdrop CTRL however, I doubt this has anything to do with the switches themselves. Probably check if the stabilizers are in place (might not have clicked into the place / screwed into the PCB properly). Otherwise lubricating the stabilizers might also fix the issue.
