Excellent. Buy them if you can find them

Headroom. This is what comes to mind when you listen to these headphones. Assuming you have a properly built pair with no mechanical issues, these phones are smooth and comfortable for long and deep listening. Cable is janky and I wish it wasn't. Get one from Beyerdynamic (Pro 900 series, etc.) and you'll be fine. The build is plastic but not cheap...not Sennheiser quality, but somewhere in the middle. Overall, this a wonderful sounding headphone with average build and a below average cable. Not a daily driver, but a good one for the audiophile tragic's collection :-)

Open to the Imagination...

The sound is so open, it let's your imagination take you away. Also has a subtle warmth and welcome detail in the mids. Bass notes are there when called upon. Their uniqueness is what has kept them as a special listening option for such a long time.
