Yes, the Helinox Chair Zero is the one I want to get. Any chance the Zero hits Massdrop sometime soon? :D

Yellow only? No thanks. Why does every manufacturer think we all want to look like we're at the circus whilst in the woods?

Complete personal choice. I carry a high vis flag for emergencies. Everything else is a natural, low visual impact color. No one want to go into the woods only to see a bunch of other people a half mile away. At least, I don't.
If I wanted that, I'd stay in town.

SirMarkosSirMarkos, I totally agree with you on the color scheme, I am a Olive Green, Camo, or disruptive color kinda of guy. Stealth or low colors are a personal choice for me.

Yes, I miscalculated the weight. The reviews on this chair are also not very favourable.

bocaI second this! I bring it on all my trail clearing trips -- sooo nice and worth the weight. My other chair is great too, 33oz Moon Lence $30 from Amazon. If someone is going to spend $70 on this Alite, they really should just spend $20 more for the Helinox Zero.

Cardamomteayep we take our two helinox zeros on every day hike and backpacking trip, eating lunch in a chair on top of that mountain makes for many wonderful trips, and many envious other hikers

G-DeuceYep, I flagged this to our team earlier, but given that it's a weekend, it will probably be fixed on Monday. Thanks!

DannyMilksLooks like the incorrect model is STILL pictured. Surely other things have come up and people can be forgetful, but it seems timely to fix the problem this time around.

I found this chair cheaper a couple other places and w/ free shipping as with a few other products that caught my eye here. This site seems to be full of...... when it comes to their quoted savings.

camshaftWhen i posted that, i got it on Amazon for fifty something bucks and free shipping. I saw prices went up, probably due to it being summer camping season now. Sierra Trading Post was another place i saw them.

It is on sale for $59 plus $9 for shipping at the Sierra trading post. You are more expensive. Why?

No hyper-light hiker frets over big dollar spends to save significant grams. My Helinox chair's heavy at 925g but what it brings to the campsite makes it worth it. Imagine my delight when Massdrop offered the Alite Mantis for near on 300g less? Then imagine how I felt when I weighed it and it was a full 180g over the claimed weight making it not that far off the Helinox. Not nearly good enough Massdrop.

My only problem with this chair is that it is not the Helios Zero

camshaftWhat about a 3 pound air chair sofa. http://amzn.to/2sJ6OFv Yea I know, it's more of a glamper. And volume is more of the restriction, not weight. This is a sofa for laying down sitting one or two people and weighs only 15 ounces more than this chair. Eh your right of course but, those tri pod ones are 1.5 pounds and 22 bucks. Sunyear has a plastic clone at 2.0-2.9 pounds. So IS the weight really that far off, for two people and a lay down option? Or emergency Hennessey hammock replacement, also it's a life preserver, so what's your drowning friend's life worth? "One pound well worth it," he says to the press in his rescue I interview. ^_^ I'm just saying it's obviously not a fair comparison, the air sac thing wins. ;)
Well actually for 2lbs an Eno Singlenest is a good option for non desert. I'm just sorta noodling outside the box of $60 low-foldable chair solution.
Chair wins.
