Alpha Industries ECWCS Gen I Parka Mod Jacket

ECWCS stands for “Extreme Cold Weather Conditions System”— which is a good indicator of the capabilities of this parka. Made entirely out of nylon, the jacket is water resistant, durable, and comfortable. With two exterior flaps, an interior welt pocket, and a flap pocket on the sleeve, the jacket has space for your gear on the go. To protect from harsh weather, it’s equipped with cuff adjusters to seal off your arms and a hood with drawstrings to protect your head. Like all Alpha Industries jackets, this one comes with the company’s signature “Remove Before Flight” tag.
