damn massdrops deals just get worse and worse, jumping the price from $60-70 to $125? They’ve really become one of those websites that tries to trick you into thinking you’ve got a “deal” by offering Things at the same price or higher than you’d get them on sale anywhere else. It’s really a shame to see this decline in quality.

Anyone that knows Alpha quality and style would recognize that deal in January! I've snagged 2 off of here for my sons, and would've gotten another for myself if I hadn't purchased one from Alpha just a couple weeks prior on a Black Friday deal (that wasn't as good as MassDrop).
Even 120 bucks for this one is a good deal, unless you're some weird size that Amazon has slashed the price on.
Alpha coats are the best.

bananabomberCan you expand on that -- the nylon cuff? The knitted inner cuff? How were you using the jacket?

Yes. For context, I own the jacket in navy -- it's not the orange part that frays, but the navy part. My jacket actually CAME shipped with minor fraying on one of the cuffs, but soon the other sleeve's cuff started to fray from regular wear as well. It's disheartening to see micro strands of blue nylon coming loose and wave around. I'm not sure what I can do to prevent further scuffing. I've owned the jacket for about two months now and wear it in normal conditions, as a jacket should be worn. I will admit I have a habit of putting my hands in my pockets, so this MAY have contributed to the fraying process, but if that is indeed what caused the fraying, it speaks volumes about the quality of the jacket. That's what you get for made in China these days...

Anyone know how warm this is? And how it deals with wind and water?

Thanks.
I'll probably end up joining the drop.
The water is more if the jacket gets covered in snow and it melts.

You know, that's intentional! Better than condensing on your face and freezing, which is the alternative!
