I still haven't received my order. I also got the impression they were vanity sizes as stated by their size chart on the website. So I'm waiting for a pair of jeans that I know won't fit. bummer.
edit: well, whaddya know. the jeans fit like a glove!

Just got my order: I usually wear a size 30 and got a size 29 assuming the waist would be a 31". as per the sizing chart given by the website.. turns out they don't practice vanity sizing. Really disappointed by this order ... the jeans look good but unfortunately don't fit. Did anybody else who ordered run into the same problem?

Presumably, they would stretch out.. I sent Massdrop an email with a positive response, so luckily, I won't have to presume! Huge +1 to Massdrop support from me - expect me to be a staunch advocate of Massdrop (both by mouth to friends and by my wallet) in the future. :)

understanding sizes on this wass confusing. I ordered a size 32 and I'm just crossing my fingers it turns out to be a 34" waist.

spinYeah, vanity sizing sucks. It seems like most raw jeans companies practice it though.

At this price point, you can get a much better pair of denim. In terms of quality and cut. These are priced higher then A.P.C., and the same as 3sixteen.

Would I be correct to assume that a size 28 would have a 30 inch waist?

jiggleI looked on their website. For size 32, there is a 34" waist http://asbury-jeans.myshopify.com/products/skinny-1888-12oz-raw So interpret that as you will for size 28. I'm guessing it means there is a 2" difference betwen size and waist though. Edit: I guess that's already on the Massdrop page <_<
