Anybody know what is life expectation of tube?<br />I mean Tube is weakest part and they are not cheap either. some tube cost well over $100.<br />I don't want to replace every year. <br />This is my first time using Tube DAC. So I have no idea what i am getting into.<br />But It sound good.<br />I use dac average 4-5 hrs daily and twice in weekend<br /><br />Ps: Man~ this thing smell<br /> Want to put this thing in wash machine or something

GoldenearsTypical life expectancy for 6DJ8 tubes is 3000-5000 hours. The 6922 and 7308 tubes are rated for 10,000 hours and is part of the reason they're more expensive now.<br />The stock tube we received is a 6922 and thus should last longer than you're likely to own the amp. That said, I don't expect it to last quite that long.
