This thing has been out of production for years and is no longer supported by the manufacturer. Has Drop now gotten into the business of selling black market goods? You should be ashamed of yourselves for offering this for sale. Awful.

Just bought this but also just realized that it ships in January. Man, I was really hoping to take this out of town with me for Christmas.

I love my Aurender FLOW but have been having issues using it with anything other than my PC or via optical. I used to be able to use it with my iPhone (though it always took a number of tries) and with my Android phones but now can no longer get it to work with iOS or Android. Has anyone else dealt with this issue? I have an Apple branded usb OTG/camera adapter I use for connecting to iOS and two different usb-c hubs that I previously was able to use for connecting to Android phones. Neither works anymore. The FLOW turns on and it shows the little computer icon indicating a connection. It even shows 48.0khz on the display and doesn't auto-shut off after a few seconds like it normally does when not connected to something. But the phone doesn't recognize an audio device is connected and no sound comes out. I have tried all the different USB options (iOS, anDR, USB2, USB3) but nothing works. Its strange because it used to work. If anyone has dealt with this and has any suggestions, I would very much appreciate your insights! This Drop page seems to be the most active place for discussion on this great but forgotten device, so fingers crossed someone out there sees this and can help. Thanks!

Loved this unit but sadly I neglected to baby that micro B USB socket and it turned an otherwise fine component into a paper weight. An item costing a few bucks taken down a $500 dac/amp. No one wants to repair it apparently. Please, if anyone out there knows someone willing, I will pay $100 if you spend a hour to do it, maybe more. There has to be some electronics hobbyist able to solder in a new one. Help!
Come on, an ESS9018K2M DAC chip and 380 mW at 32 ohms? Seriously? This is Year 2021 and I am using two ESS9038PRO DAC to power my music.

ciberDAC chips are only one part of the design and by themselves don’t define how a product sounds. In fact, all the rest of the implementation around the DAC chip have far more impact on the overall sound of the unit, and if you read the reviews the Flow gets very high marks for sound quality and is likely superior to many more recent amp/DACs with newer DAC chips. I actually think this is a great deal and would probably buy it myself, but at this price I’m not willing to roll the dice with likely no warranty attached.

ciberYeah, my LG V60 has the "upgraded" ESS Sabre dac chip and the Aurender Flow was a huge improvement in sound.

How come picture 7 in the gallery shows how misaligned the buttons are to the grooves? Is that a QA issue?
"I'm sorry Dave, I'm afraid I can't do that. "
I’d get this if I wasn’t certain that Aurender wouldn’t provide any support for a discontinued product, and Drop wouldn’t be any help either.

I don’t understand how Drop can be selling this if Aurender has had it listed on their own site as discontinued for a while now. Umm...

I wonder who will shoulder the after-sales servicing
PrimeDefendrNo need to wonder, you get drops DoA warranty, beyond that you are at the mercy of Aurender for support on a discontinued product with most likely no warranty.
