CMMiller89So I made this comment 2 weeks ago and it looks like this won't even ship until next week? Maybe longer? And I had to pay for this shipping?
Is this fairly standard around here. I know this drop seemed promising because it was at a reasonable discount compared to other places but... 3-4 weeks, then shipping time on top of that, and I gotta pay for that too?
I've looked at a lot of drops on this site for a long time, and the deals always only seem marginally better than Amazon, worse so if you're anywhere in the world other than the US.
So I've got to ask, what is it exactly about Massdrop orders that makes it so difficult for suppliers to fulfill? I mean, the drops last weeks themselves, so you see the number rise, you put a cap on all of them so you can't go over a stock amount. I don't get it.
Here is the requisite Tolarian Community College Review
TLDW: He gave it an A- for being the best budget 12 pocket portfolio available. The side loading pockets appear to be near perfect for un, single, and double sleeved cards.
Assuming you don't care about the color, you can get these on amazon for 22.49 primed. You are saving more than 10 dollars by buying it here (assuming 10 make the cut). This looks like a very good value.
48.90 $ shipping to Canada you guys are out of your mind not only is the drop price on your items not that much below what they go for in stores here but your shipping is ridiculous!
Why in the world don't these come in silver and gold or at least gray and yellow? That way we could get a binder for each color, plus colorless and multicolor. Great for sorting cards for commander. Maybe a brown one for lands.
That MSRP price is a joke. They're nowhere near that price. The only place they go for that much is on their official site. The average price per binder on places like Amazon and Ebay is about $22. On top of that, the discount of buying them here as opposed to, say, Amazon, is only about $10-12. I remember when the discounts on this site used to actually be worth it.
endersbladeYeah I noticed the same thing. Every time a new drop starts on hobby shop community I look at other sites just to compare and the items is coincidentally either on sale or just had a recent price drop. If I ask my friend to order something for me with his Amazon Prime I can get the item with 2-3 business days sometimes next day. It would only cost me marginally more to get the same item quicker. Massdrop is better with more expensive items like anything over $50.
