I just realized these are all the same watches with a few different dials and a bunch of different straps!
Who do they think they're fool'n with that?!!!
RayFI received one of these today. I hope they are not all the same watch because this one is beyond laughable. Check out my review if you’d like a chuckle....at my expense.
I've got a few of these and have worn them extensively. They are excellent, durable, and utterly reliable watches but I've got two reservations for people with sensitive skin. First, the lowest part of the lugs are a little pointy and that can be an annoyance if you have sensitive skin. Luckily, you can solve that with a few careful minutes and an emery board. The second is that the stock nylon bands are not comfortable. Sure, they are super strong, sturdy, durable, etc. They just aren't comfortable. They are stiff. The stitching, folded edges, and reinforced hole edges can all scratch a little. If you have sensitive skin, look into Bertucci's canvas comfort band. It's literally the most comfortable watch band I've ever worn and it looks great on these watches.
Not really. Being thick and durable is a major selling point for some people. The stock nylon strap on most models of DX3 is just that. The change in mine over time was minimal. I eventually tried breaking it in manually by folding, crushing, etc. It's just too tough. Since this will be specific to individual fit and sensitivity, I recommend trying it out. If you don't like it, you can always get a replacement band. There are cheaper options but the discount here pretty much covers one of Bertucci's excellent canvas bands.
Just got mine in the mail yesterday. It's a black dial w/ brown numbers and luminous hour markings. Super lightweight, feels like a durable plastic. Band is a bit scratchy but not bad tbh. Dial is super easy to read and looks nice. Love this for a quick beater upper you can wear anyday. Looks great, and fun to swap out different straps super easily. Apparently the quartz movement will last 3-ish years.
Definitely no regrets for $50! Very happy w the purchase.
