How thick is the case? How many millimeters?

Good drop. I have a white A-1S and I love it. Been thinking of getting another one in black but man, 42mm is way too big.

For me, a watch without a date function is a no go.

MASC1104Funny, I find they ruin the dial symmetry, and prefer watches without them (or with subtle ones at the 6 o'clock position).

Just curious. How does this differ from the Bertucci Dx3 that drops here now and then? I notice that the crown is at 3 o'clock vs 4 o'clock. Maybe the colors on the hands are a bit different? If it's still a polycarbonate case, might those be the only differences?

Also case size is 42mm and 40mm on the DX3.

K.T.NA-3P is 42mm diameter and 51mm lug to lug. The DX3 is 40mm diameter and 49.5mm lug to lug. The strap on the A-3P is also a double pass NATO whereas the strap on the DX3 is a single pass Zulu.

I absolutely hate it when they have conflicting information on watches, especially about the crystals and cases. You usually end up having to email the seller, who sometimes has no idea. Or you have to Google and search the internet to see if anyone actually has their $hit together. Would have gotten it if it wasn't polycarbonate.

CaptainScratchyMy wife has a Casio Polly with a NATO strap. Because she goes shelling down here in Florida, where we live in the winter, and we live on the lake in New Hampshire in the summer, it's sees a lot of water use. It takes it okay, but scratches up pretty easily. Also, she doesn't like the lightness of it. She usually ends up wearing one of my Orients or SKX's. Anyway, this watch would have been for her, except, like I said, its poly.

Massdrop needs to update their description. Would have purchased if it was a stainless case. Case is polymer with stainless crown and case back.

I like the watch, but I'm conflicted with other options. The Seiko SNE095 is a little more, but it's solar, so no battery changes needed. The Timex Expedition is cheaper and you get indiglo, but it may be too loud for some. I have both the Seiko and Timex, both are fantastic! Either way, everyone wins in today's watch world.

This is actually a polycarbonate case (w/ SS case back). The description is incorrect. http://www.bertucciwatches.com/Bertucci/A3PSportsman.html

So you are holding customers to a higher expectation than the vendor? One should be able to trust the accuracy of basic specs presented. This is a major error on Massdrop's part.
