I pre ordered this watch a while back, got a receipt saying drop will email me when they ship it. Over a week since it sold out, am I actually gonna get this watch or did I really just get scammed?

does it have a screw down crown? I'm guessing not, or it would be in the specs. No, just checked; probably a limitation of the aluminium. I wouldn't go swimming with it.

Interesting...so, don't swim if the crown doesn't screw down, but according to the chart provided a watch rated at 100m, the vast majority of which utilize push/pull crowns, are suitable for swimming? Nothing wrong with erring on the side of caution, and I'm not telling anyone what to do with their stuff, but I believe the consensus opinion is that a 100m watch, with or without a screw down crown, is suitable for swimming. Assuming it's free of manufacturing and material defects, and has been properly serviced if/when necessary, of course.

The dx3 is cheaper and lighter. The fact that it says "aluminum" on the face is unattractive. If this watch had day and/or date complications it would be worth the money. Aluminum isn't that expensive.

Nice field watch, which doesn't try to copy anyone else. Aluminum case, good lume, 100 meters water resistance and comfortable fit. Yes, it is quartz, but at only $84, it seems like a good deal for a watch that you can pick up and thrown on your wrist, without thinking it twice.
