I guess they were talking about making copies on discs? Actually the 03 'ANNOTATION' doesn't sound half-bad, but the NEVERGIVEUP? What, the thirty bucks? ;-)

I watched BGGA review and it seems the one he got is a pre-production model. They fixed the tuning and looks almost identical with Bl03 in mid-high frequencies but has recessed bass. If it is true what they say this might be a best tuning iem under 100$.

that bass sounds as bass should, and there is nothing wrong if you like weak bass, but many don't like it.

If there's no piezo driver I wish drop would update the listing. It's obnoxious when they let wrong specs stay up.

Not really a deal when you consider that they are sold 43$ elsewhere (Linsoul). Inflating the regular price is just bad business practice, IMHO

Gosh that was fast! BGGA doesn't like it but to me it sounds good. It uses the same driver as Moondrop Starfield. I think the ergonomics is a bit better too. I think the design would be quite subjective. I think this has a bit more original design that the Blon-03 which looked like a Xelento rip off. I expect people making a Tin T2 vs T3 or T2 vs T4 kind of debate about this. I think this is cheap enough for me to just try.

FstopListening to both right now balanced with a Fiio BTR5 with tidal hifi/master tracks, vocals seem more recessed on the blon, and I have a little bit more lower end detail retrieval with the blon, but overall I still prefer the starfields. They have a more natural cooler sound. The starfields get along with more recordings and do a better job with well mastered songs. My 03's bit the dust awhile ago, would buy another pair, enjoyed the sounds a lot, was more musical then the starfield and the 05, but the least accurate and most finiky w/ fit... take that with a grain of salt, been awhile since I've heard that set.

I'm wondering if these are worth getting if I already have the starfield. I had the blon bl-03 + a tripowin zonie cable before but it broke in laundry.
I loved the bl-03, it sounded absolute breathtaking on some tracks, but it felt like there was "something" missing in most of the other tracks.
I still had the cable so I thought why not, let's try upgrading to a different set of iems that would fit the 2 pin cable so I got the starfield iems, and to me these sounded way better, not on all tracks I listen to but most of them, especially because that "missing" sound was no longer missing to me. It has a fuller sounding signature to me. Maybe these bl-05s will be better? I'm guessing I should just stick to my starfields though.

I've read somewhere that they sort of botched the tuning of this, unlike the BL03, I'd love to hear some opinions about this
Also - I don't know about you guys but they look awful. Like they just added that gold piece over the BL03 looking housing and ruined the thing.

This cannot be stressed enough. With the BL03 I had to go one tip (foam) size up and even then sometimes any minor stress would break the seal...

StopBadDropsFor my Blon 03, I use medium foams with a 3.5mm bore and they fit perfectly. Using those foams it's my favorite iem.

Does it have the piezo driver or not? I believe it doesn't have it. Also are there any color choices?

NMWISEI ordered a set. I only had the option for mic or no mic. I hope I get the gun color.
