Just a heads-up for everyone that, when inspecting the samples, we found some of the included ball chains to have a light rust. To make sure that everyone gets a brand new ball chain, we got in touch with the vendor to make sure these were replaced. Rather than open up all the sealed boxes, some of which may not even be affected, we're going to ship each knife with an extra ball chain to make sure that everyone gets a good one.

Got this shit response when I contacted to cancel

vonglate reply: I joined the drop 1.5 years ago. Back then they had a long ball chain but because of storage conditions the all had bad rust stains. Massdrop had to delay the drop (nothing new...) to put a new chain in all packages.
I guess around that time they left the balls chains out for good, but that's all guesswork.

BleakravenloftNot sure either...I got emailed on the 21st and it's inactive today the 24th. Was traveling for the holidays so missed it. I believe it was around $16 plus some shipping. You can get it Prime on Amazon right now for $20 shipped.

Yeow, That exposed blade while folded looks like it could cut your finger quite easily if you're not careful. Maybe it's just me, but I'm not willing to compromise safety for a little extra portability.

BombenhagelIt's only ground on the side of the edge that faces away from the liner, so the back of the blade is almost flat against the liner.

From this purchase, I have realized to always look up items on Amazon or another online reseller before buying on Massdrop. For only a dollar more, I could've gotten this knife 2 days after I ordered it. Instead, I have been waiting for almost a month (which is not bad, just saying). I saved one dollar and wasted a lot of my own time. Always check other resellers.

Z4KJ0N3S440C is a high-quality blade steel. It may not be a modern "super-steel", but it's still excellent, and far superior to what the average Joe typically finds in a pocket knife. Particularly at this price-point, it's much better than you usually see.

It's on Amazon for 24 dollars, but it also has Amazon Prime shipping so you can get it in like 3 days instead of waiting up to a month on Massdrop.
