Backed by premium materials in a compact and sophisticated frame, the Boker Gent-X is suitable for any nice occasion. The blade is made from high-carbon 440C stainless steel for good edge retention—but the handle is where the knife really shines Read More
This is essentially an ugly Kizer but with way worse steel... You should never pay more than 40 bucks for 440c. At least Kizer has the decency to slap some s35vn on it for the price.
fhoodI have to agree and it's, at least for me, a perfect gent as far as size, weight, look, blade and price. I like this knife, I love the weight, and I don't have any problem with 440..... if it's priced the way 440 should be priced. Even if this was $15 cheaper than the MD/FF Gent I wouldn't choose this over that. Yes, I obviously like my two MD/FF Gents quite a bit, but seeing the price of this Boker makes me love them.
beautiful knife and it's a nice in between for those who carry a knife in the office or out in the city... but right now the MDxFF collab Gent Select is currently available for $25 less, with S35vn steel, deep carry clip, and either carbon fiber or rosewood handles in a similar size. This will be a hard sell, and even harder at 440c.
