Can we get more photos? Or maybe a short video on how the buckle mechanism works? The one picture, and the CAD rendering, don't exactly showcase everthing clearly. I mean, correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the buckle, like, the main selling point? I'm just saying, if it was my product, I'd have a dozen photos from every possible angle, highlighting all the key features, and how they work.

Would be nice if that could just be provided on here. Seems like pretty basic stuff to show on this

NeonWMMy sentiment exactly. If Drop has a product listed, they should have all the possible info about said product in the description. We shouldn't have to navigate multiple websites to look for it. It's just inconvenient for us, and inconsiderate of Drop.
If anyone has questions, just let me know!

CarbonTacticsId be interested in purchasing the barebones buckle, similar to what you guys do with your other belts. Is there any chance that will be available at some point? Im a sucker for customization and would love to be able to use my own strap. Plus, a small production run of a machined part like this is quite pricey, so anything that reduces the cost (even slightly) would be nice.
ccwhitneyI’m sorry, we’re not selling the buckles separately right now. They are my own design, and we machine them ourselves in-house. I know what you mean about expensive small production runs. Our business model really only works because we’re lean, mean, and vertically integrated.

I went on the belt website to see how the magnetic mechanism work, but after 15 minutes of browsing I'm over it. Was gonna purchase a couple but I'll stick with my 20 bucks nylon belt and save money.

What exactly is "Biothane" a pseudo-leather..and where is it made?
fredmcdermottBioThane is a urethane coated webbing, made in the USA. It is a leather alternative, but much stronger/more durable. It's made by a company of the same name. Let me know if you have any other questions :)

I picked up the Epoch single layer here on a whim a couple months back unsure of whether I would use it or not. It quickly became my favorite belt and my only complaint was that when I tried to make adjustments to the size it usually reverts back to the very first bend I made in the nylon. I'm excited about this new way of locking in the adjustment and ordered a brown and a gray.
