Plus, it can be used as an integrated amp for passive speakers and features an output of 1.2W x 2 (RMS, triode) or 2.2W x 2 (RMS, ultralinear).

Head-Fi user Ferbose says, "It can sound as good as other headphone amps I have heard below $1,000 USD, delivering an open, smooth sound with the tonal purity one would expect from SET topology. It can drive any low-sensitivity headphone with ease, but using it with high-sensitivity headphones would require some attention to choosing low-noise tubes. In addition, it can perform satisfactorily as a preamp or a flea-power SET speaker amp, which makes it a really great bargain."
