To all folks eyeing this, AliExpress is currently having a sale and provided you have the right store and the discount coupons, you can get the microphone cable version at as low as US $64.xx! The non-microphone cable is available as low as $62.xx!
Tips:
Use the app (prices are a tad lower), search for "CCA C16" and sort from low to high price; will take you some scrolling effort to get to the sellers offering the lowest price. Add a couple of the lowest to cart.
Follow the store(s) you intend to buy from; discount coupons are sometimes provided based on being a follower. Go to the Discounts Coupons section of each store (from which you added the C16 to cart) and choose coupons; if you have points to spare, exchange them for coupons (including Select coupons).
Head to the Coins and Coupons section from the app's homepage, and exchange 1000 points (if you have) for a $10 coupon.
Compare the prices by selecting each store exclusively without hitting buy; AE shows you a preview of the cost with breakup of discounts.
After buying, be patient for a couple of days, weeks or even two months, based on where you're located on earth!
I own them and despite their price, the sound signature is good although it needs to be attenuated on the range above the 5Hz or somewhere around (focused on highs, not super highs though). They are really good and with the right ear tips (I found some rounded silicone tips that came along with the Senfer DT6 https://www.aliexpress.com/item/SENFER-DT6-1BA-1DD-Hybrid-In-Ear-Earphone-HIFI-DJ-Running-Sports-Earplug-Earbuds-With-Mic/32952627599.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.35114c4dPWcAR8 to be really a great match; toning down the highs and boosting the lows).
I also own the JH Roxanne and while the CCA C16 are brighter, maybe a bit sibilant, detailed and clean they are not that textured as the Roxanne besides that the soundstage and positioning is still a bit behind; but being around 20x less the price, is really a good value per dollar.
Get them and use the right tips like the one in that link (they should have the same tips in AliExpress) and the sound will be much more balanced.
I've heard these. They shoot well above their price point and the 8 drivers per ear are audibly noticeable. The most drivers for the money. The only brands I know of that make IEMS with more drivers are 64 Audio, Noble, and CTZ. All of those are significantly more expensive, including the Massdrop x Noble Kaiser which comes with the premium packaging, including a Pelican Micro 1010 case. Cheaper on AliExpress if you want to wait a month. Otherwise, these are a yes. The CCA C10 are significantly cheaper for just a few less drivers, and are a bigger bang for your buck, but these C16s are better.
so you can find these for a better price as noted by others
now disregarding that
i just purchased the c10 for what i realized was half off.
CCA just released the A line of IEM
so it would appear the C4 C10 etc are being replaced
by the A line. so in all likelihood this C16 will shortly be at an even lower price on amazon or aliexpress
idunnomanI did see that on AliExpress yesterday while I was catching up on the CCA thread on HF. KZ /CCA are releasing there iems at a FURIOUS rate that isn't possible by most companies besides the Chinese. Every 4 to 5 months they release something new? I stopped @ AS10 but the new batch of ZSN, ZSN PRO, ZS10 PRO along with the CCA offerings pulled me back in. I just grabbed a C10 last week and have a CA4 arriving tomorrow. I'm waiting to see if they upgrade the AS16 and C16 with something in the A line soon. The KZ version is tuned too light in the bass and the CCA version is not far behind.
Just got mine for today. bought around $60 from local online store. Worth every penny.
Unlike kz as10 the stem is filtered, better L plug and 2 pins. Paired with dekoni eartips.
Still waiting for the silver plated cable, but it sounded great out of the box. No sibilance at least for my ears
