" merino wool for warmth " in the description, will this mean that these socks are not suitable for warm and humid country like Singapore?

CWHSGI have used these in all climates and they are durable and legit socks. I recommend them for sure, also they last for a very long time.

CWHSGI am in a warm and humid climate too. These are fine for the office and short walks outside. I haven't tried wearing them a full day outdoors, but so far no indication they would be uncomfortable.

PaigeDI think i pointed this out on a previous drop, but if you just leave the price on the drop page blank, or say "price shown at checkout", you can put whatever default price you want on the checkout screen. No need for coupons. The checkout page on an eshop is considered a brick and mortor shop under MAP regs, and is not required to follow MAP pricing.

It’s advertised as $33 for TWO SOCKS, because Drop is run by people who have trouble with English. What I received was EIGHT SOCKS (four pair) for $66.

WesleyFor one pair* You're at least saving a couple bucks with this drop, albeit spending time waiting for shipping. Not a bad trade off if you don't need them right away.

McDaddygotcha - somehow I translated "2-pack" in my mind as 2 socks...

Matt_120I use them for backpacking too, easy to get 2+ days out of them!
I think this drop will bring me up to 10 pairs, including the shorty versions.

For how many pairs? Because if it’s just for 1 pair, they certainly don’t retail for $44, and it makes no sense to wait a whole month for something I could simply walk out and buy for the same price...

This seems like no deal at all. The socks sell for $23 on Darn Tough's website and you can find them for this $21 price all over the place. Also color and sizes are very limited. Not sure why they show a $44 retail price - that is totally not true.

Is this for one or two pairs? Last time they were cheaper.

That's not a deal.

KCainWhen you get to choosing your sock styles in the cart, there's a coupon for $11 off. So it's really two pairs for $33.

This is scummy. Anyone who uses Darn Tough knows that this isn't a deal, at all. You can buy these full retail straight from Darn Tough, or anywhere else for that matter, for $23, and you won't have to wait for them. The scummy part is that Massdrop is listing the retail as $44, again... straight from Darn Tough for $23. Anyone not familiar with this brand might actually think this is a deal.

MickifreeYou are totally correct, Drop is misleading people with this "deal". Pretty crappy tactic.
