Dekoni Premium Ear Pads for HD 58X & HD 6XX

And now, they’re available for one of the most popular series of headphones on the market: the Massdrop x Sennheiser HD 58X and HD 6XX, along with the Sennheiser HD 650 and HD 580. Under the outer layer of comfort, the YM80 memory foam has a super-slow rebound time, adhering to every curve on your head and blocking out unwanted sounds. Plus, since everyone at Dekoni wears glasses, this was taken into account when designing the pads.

Dekoni recently released the much-anticipated Elite Velour ear pad, utilizing the slow-rebound, high-density memory foam it’s famous for, now wrapped in a new and tighter velour. This ear pad is cooler and allows for a more comfortable fit, as well as improved sound isolation properties over previous Dekoni velour models. Dekoni plans to release other models in Elite Velour in the future.

Dekoni has also created a new Elite Hybrid ear pad that combines the best qualities of all its pads. Sheepskin on the outside is combined with Elite Velour where the pad meets the face. In order to better control the transparency of the ear pad, Dekoni added its fenestrated sheepskin on the inner wall to create the ultimate ear pad.

After careful design and testing, Dekoni has come out with a fenestrated version of its popular elite sheepskin ear pad. The company found that the fenestration (or perforations) of the ear pad allow for a cool, comfortable fit, as well as improved acoustic properties. The soundstage is tighter due to the increased absorption of more early reflections before the sound enters the ear. This allows for less phasing and a truer sound. Dekoni plans to release other pad models in fenestrated sheepskin in the future.
