I wish there was a version of the elite hybrid that didn't have velour touching the skin. The seal of the closed Aeon headphones is important for bass. Then have fenestrated inside. Dan Clark has some pads that are leather with fenestrated on half of the inside - they used them for the Aeon 2 Noire. They get very close to the Harmon target with this setup... I am beginning to dislike the longevity of the original Dan Clark pads and would love to give Dekoni more of my money.

confuzyonI'm with you on this. The biggest disappointment on the DCA pads seems to be their longevity/durability ... or lack of it. I wholeheartedly agree with you on the need/wish for Dekoni to make a higher quality hybrid similar to the DCA pad.

TfromtheDThey will fit the AEON closed X. I'm pretty sure the X, RT, etc are all the same form factor, with the only difference being the tuning.

anyone have an issue with the 3m tape not sticking? I can't get them to stay on well and they don't appear to make a proper seal.

if the company can't make a fitted product or add the proper adhesive im not going to pay them to diy that shit myself. returned them and done with dan clark headphones

scoopbbI love my DCA headphones. By far the most comfortable headphones I've ever used. The stock pads seal and stick great. It's bizarre how sticky the DCA stock pads are and how NOT sticky the Dekoni pads are.

I bought in in this, then later was refunded because ‘not enough people bought in’ and now it says “sold through”? What gives? I need a set to replace the collapsed pads (even though the headphones are still within warranty, go figure)!

izackaryYeah I contacted DCA about my pads deteriorating (barely a year old), and they essentially said "it happens". Love my RT's, but for $500, I feel like they should come with pads that last a bit longer than a year. Hoping enough people buy the pads this time around; I'll be placing my order shortly.

Excited for the Sheepskin earpads, there is a slight leakage problem with the stock pads (the foam used is so incredibly light and airy that sound inherently leaks out of the pads themselves even with a good seal). I've purchased Dekoni sheepskin pads for my Sennheisers and they were unbelievably comfortable. According to the graphs posted by Dekoni themselves, sheepskins doesn't change anything about the sound except for an increase in bass (denser foam which leaks out less bass)

I love the stock pads, so I can't see myself auditioning new pads especially since they are just adhesived on. Looking forward to hearing feedback on how these sound for when I need to replace the stock pads!

Ahh alright. I clean them after every other use with alcohol wipes so hopefully they'll hold up well. I agree on the non-animal products part. Still looking forward to see how these change the sound signature and comfort!

Great! I just purchased the Aeon Flow Closed RT and I love the sound, but I found the original pads to be too warm and sweat inducing. In for an Hybrid replacement pair from Dekoni.
