It takes one glance at a Dietrich watch to know it’s something different. Available here are several models in the brand’s Time Companion series, as well as the standalone DD-1 watch—both sporting cases in Dietrich’s signature hexagonal shape Read More
HA! I gave you those eleven likes--you sounded like you needed a hug ;- )
That and I felt sorry for your Spelling and Punctuation challenges.
Hope you're feeling better now?
Do you like any watch other than a Timex? I think you could easily argue this watch is more aesthetically pleasing than an AP Royal Oak. You don't seem like a typical watch collector. Dietrich Time is one of the few microbrands (asides from dive watches) that get appreciation on Watchuseek by collectors with watches much more expensive.

Who said I was a Timex guy? I'm neither for or against them.
As a classification, I'm partial to dive watches and tool watches in general. Ninety percent of the time my comments simply reflect my personal preferences/tastes, for or against a given watch. Unless I own the watch in question, anything I offer is just a superficial critique, up or down.
Hopefully no one takes anything I say too personally, especially if I dis a watch they like, or worse own.
One should always remember, I'm just some guy on the internet ;- )
unixvovaThere’s definitely some Genta DNA in there but don’t think it’s fair to call it a knockoff. Carrying the hexagon design through the bracelet is a pretty unique design decision, and the rest of the package seems really cohesive.
unixvovaYes but at a "Knock-off price"!! Hmmm... $799 or about $20,000 (depending on model or uasd) up!!!!
At $799 okay for a lookalike which is saying just maybe a homage. At this price I don't call it cheap but working class price. I believe that the designer Chinese made "Maserati" watches also has a lookalike. But at least this one is swiss made.
Very interesting design and a great way to get this Royal Oak sports watch looking craze design without being a copycat. Swiss made with a reliable ETA movement for $799? This is checking a lot of boxes for me. I'm about done my honeymoon period with the Zelos Thresher, maybe this will replace it...
I find this one overpriced... Maybe with titanium, ceramic, Tritium, COSC, 6️⃣0️⃣0️⃣➕Ⓜ️💧 resistance, in 🏡 movement, chronograph or GMT... But plain ETA 2️⃣8️⃣2️⃣4️⃣ and not even caseback with highly decorated movement is not making sense 🤷🏻♂️
This is Ingersoll's offering ,running a seiko nh35a auto, curretly for sale at $195 usd. with code. A it cheaper for the generic flavour!! Not to good at copying the images yet !! It is called the Catalina. Oh! jut worked out how!! Okay not exactly the same ,maybe what rump is to porterhouse!!
You are right ,but if you want a watch to be noticed!!!! Currently I am looking at the Michigan that's 45 and 15 mm respectfully. Bigger than I normally get but,my son said to me I have at least 6 or 7 of each diver style and chronograph sports/speed-master style. Time to go back to something different. Change is as good as a rest. And I guess if you buy an Ingersoll then it should look like one.
That's amazing, the drop is live again but my watch from the previous drop hasn't arrived yet, bought mid-August. Apparently the shortest route from US to EU is through South Africa
