Hi everyone,
Well, the benefit of this being a low volume drop is that the key fobs have already been produced and will be delivered to the Massdrop distribution center by the end of the week. To those who ordered, thank you for the support! To everyone else in the discussion, thank you for sharing your candid and colorful opinions.
All the best,
Bill
This is such a great deal for such a great cordovan accessory! I have the pleasure of owning two of these, purchased a couple weeks ago directly from Bill, and they're awesome. The shell is a good thickness, the embossing is smooth, the hardware is solid and if you're super lucky you might score an additional stamp on the reverse! I definitely recommend jumping on this deal--I know I am! 🤙🏽
ChurchillWHahaha! Well, if you change your mind I'll be happy to make one for you.
Massdrop allowed me to submit my own photography for the drop and they did an excellent job with the photo editing. I got goosebumps while I was taking the photo with 18 Horween colors for my website :)
cagenutsHi,
The leather these are made from is Horween Shell Cordovan, and the stamp is intended to celebrate the Horween brand, its world-famous Shell Cordovan product, and the sought-after Shell Cordovan logo that is often found ink-stamped on the back side of the leather. District Leather is the maker of these key fobs, but the key fobs intentionally do not include District Leather branding, which is often appreciated by Horween Shell Cordovan enthusiasts.
I'm not sure whether the drop can be modified at this point to include a non-stamped version. But, if the comments yield enough interest, I'm sure it can at least be discussed. Please also feel free to reach out through the contact page of the District Leather website if you have questions about product modifications.
Thanks,
Bill
