In 2011, audio engineer NwAvGuy published a blog post titled “O2 Headphone Amp,” in which he outlined his philosophy on defining sound quality and detailed his ideal audiophile circuit design. Our version of NwAvGuy's famous O2 amplifier, the Objective 2 Desktop Edition features updates based on feedback from the community Read More

Bhagwanhttps://jdslabs.com/product/15vac-power-adapter/ not sure if they ship to Sweeden. I'm just linking what generally you need to look for. They're not cheap unless you get lucky seeing it at a local thrift store.
Input Voltage (EU/UK/AU) 220-240VAC
Output Voltage ~15VAC
Output Current 500mA
Connector Size 2.1 x 5.5 x 11.0 mm Barrel
15 VAC output is probably ideal but 14 to 16 VAC will work. Note: DO not purchase a 15 "VDC"output adapter for the O2. Needs to be VAC output. The output current can be as low as maybe 250mA and it'll probably work fine 99% of the time but the more current the better. If you get an adapter capable of 50000mA it won't break anything except maybe your bank account.
You could probably go down to as low as 12 VAC output as long as the output current is like 1000mA or more but I would just stick with the safe bet of 14-16VAC.
Hopefully you didn't try and use the US adapter. If you did you might have blown a few capacitors by exposing them to double the voltage they were expecting to see. Maybe not though, perhaps Drop used more robust parts or just exposing them for a brief period wasn't enough to damage them (more likely though the capacitors would instantly pop within milliseconds). Just giving you some caution.
Michael-QWow, thank u so much for all of the information!
I haven't tried the US adapter because i was afraid of something like that actually could happend.
Anyone else getting no sound? I tried it connected to the grace sdac which is connected directly to my desktop and I get no sound. The I tried it connected directly to a sound source with an rca to 3.5 mm and also no sound. Any suggestions would be appreciated because I really do not want to return it along with the grace sdac.
Is this Drop O2 Amplifier a good starter for a pair of HD 660s? I plan to eventually upgrade to maybe a schiit stack or something better. I mainly will be using this for competitive gaming but I also enjoy listening to music so I don't need a top of the line DAC/Amp but if anyone can give input on what would be my best range of prices for upgrades or what they think would best power the headphones that would be awesome!
MTaterIMO, if you intend on upgrading after purchasing the O2 you should just skip the O2 and get the upgrade first. Schiit heresy and jds labs atom performance is basically end game status so you won't need anything above that either. With that said, the O2 if built to spec is also really good just with less max power you'll never actually ever need. However, Drop's O2 ships with a sub par ac/ac adapter (because they wanted to save a dollar or two??) and I personally don't trust the quality control for this product (example : left and right channels being swapped , poor soldier joints that eventually fail ect). Plus it looks ugly. I mean it's great if you're doing a DIY and building from scratch (as it was originally intended) but I expect more when buying a finished product.
Michael-Qthanks for the feedback man I’ve heard many people saying going anything higher then a schiit stack with the heresy and 3+ is overkill for power unless you have headphones that truly need it and obviously the 660s aren’t overly power hungry, much appreciated I’ll go ahead with the endgame first!
