Is this amp powerful enough to drive my 600ohm beyerdynamic t1's. At the moment I have a chord qutest dac connected to the beyerdynamic a20 amp, but the amp seems to add heavy compression and drowns the tone a little.

LodwalesIt should be, yes. Granted it's single ended power is less than the balanced, but it's still a very capable amp.

Lodwalesthis is dollar for dollar, by a wide margin, the most powerful headphone amp that exists. it puts 1.8W out at 32ohm on SE and 6W at 32ohm on balanced, with no distortion. This is the exact reason why this amp is so desirable.
