i find it a little bit tinny, but not to the point that it's painful. though it might also because the thing just can't stay ergonomically inside my ears. maybe because it's very small and the body doesn't lend itself to hang to your ear canal. but this thing lasts virtually a lifetime.
Definitely the best ear buds I've owned. They only recently started to get run down with the left bud now seeming to die out with severely diminished audio volume. The small grey rubber nub attached to the bottom of the jack also eventually detached, enabling the wiring to get worn/damaged.
BackwardCapDon't know if this help, but try changing the filters. I used the silver pairs and when i open it a layer of the filter melted blocking the sound.
I tested them but they were to sharp for me. But as a gift to my brother who was in the Marines(some hearing loss) they sounded good to him. So that's good for me.
I so enjoy using these while working, but they don't really seem to have enough oomph. Not the most comfortable, but what can you expect at that amazing price point? Definitely recommend if you're in the market for something inexpensive, but I think there are several other options in this category nowadays.
