Well, I found my daughter's desk speaker. For $150 I really don't think one can go wrong here.

This is a steal. I have Edifier speakers (S1000 MK2) on my desk right now. They are not audiophile quality, but are damned close.

I had just bought the lowest tier they have on Amazon to get a feel for the sound. I was pleasantly surprised by the great sound. That being said I saw these for $30 more I just had to send them back and endure the wait for those extra features.

I love the look of these. Clever to keep a wood look but give it some styling on the wood sides to differentiate it. I hope more companies iterate on that. I'm impressed to see a budget priced brand like Edifier putting in that kind of creativity on the design. (Unless these are copying some other company's design and I just don't know about it).

For $150 these are a steal. I’ve owned the s2000 pro (two sets), the r1280db and now the s2000 mkiii. Edifier’s stuff have all worked super well for me. The s2000 mkiii hit like a train. If I needed a desktop set I’d buy these.
