Are these everglides the V1, V2 or V2 PRO. difference being v1s are supposed to come slightly lubed, v2s are factory lubed (supposedly better than v1) and V2 PROS being hand lubed. Got this from their Tao Bao site
I'm newish to learning about switches and I'm interested in purchasing some of these for a new build of mine which is going to be hotswappable. A little confused with all the forces etc. If im not mistaken the Amber Orange is compareable to a Red switch and would the Coral Red be similar to a Yellow or moreso like a Black?
If these are v2 there should be nothing wrong with them. The v1 aren't as smooth as they could be and are not lubed properly along the spring. Also there seems to be issue with the switches producing a scratchy sound that can be easily solved with adding film to the switch housing and lubricating the spring and housing. If you're looking for comparable switches you can look at tealious v2. Everglides are also fairly cheap compared to the tealious v2
PokemonGirl8Hm... Is there any particular reason why they would not sell the V2s?
From your comment alone, I could tell that there was some backlash regarding the quality of the switches. I hope they're not stupid enough to do that :P
Strange why they didn't label em though.
Just when the other Everglide Custom Switch ( Purple ) sales is about to end this come along lol...
Thank God I didn't go for those...we are given more choice here lol !
Wow and I thought my Gateron Yellows were bad...some reason my custom caps on my Gateron Yellow is really loose compare to my previous Cherry Browns. But not this bad lol...
TaoBao is from China, so at the moment I think it's best avoided.
This is made and ship from where exactly ? But at times TaoBao won't be any cheaper. Shipping maybe slightly cheaper.
NovelKeys is about 15$ USD, TaoBao sometimes fluctuate. I normally buy from a friend, he will gather one sum and ship together.
Sometimes it's cheap sometimes it's expensive as 15 - 20$ USD just the shipping....
gh0st47im currently using a board with milky top gateron yellows and they seem fine so far.
i guess as long as they are in stock you should be fine. KBDfans already started shipping out their stuff from china weeks ago.
i'm pretty sure the switches you see out in the market today, apart from cherry, are manufactured all in china.
there's a TopClack promo code 'Clickclack' for 5% off in-stock items on NovelKeys, if you end up choosing to purchase from NK.
