These are a great alternative to buying cheap corner store headphones. They aren't anything super special, but they do have a good sound quality and are small enough to just throw in your bag. I really like these as a back up option. You know, the cheap headphones you keep in your desk, just in case you need them to block out the noises around you.
Fell apart way too easy, like others have already complained about in their reviews. That being said, the audio quality is acceptable for the low cost of acquisition. And to be honest, some good epoxy will make repairing the headphones rather easy. Not sure that I can recommend these due to the poor selection of adhesive by constructors.
Within a few weeks I found myself applying super glue to keep the actual ear piece from coming apart. After that they lasted for quite a while.
They have finally died a year out due to some unknown electrical issue.
For the price I bought them at ($12), the sound quality was really good. But, now they are just e-waste.
So I knew I wasn't going to get audiophile quality from these, but they were surprisingly good for <$10. I was bragging to friends about them as I took them on mountain bike rides, etc. and was considering purchasing multiple pairs in case I trashed/lost them doing outdoor activities.
Then they just stopped working. The light goes on when plugged into a charging cable, but they no longer power on. Completely dead. Tried some troubleshooting and finally gave up.
So they only lasted a few months ... cost per month is reasonable considering but don't plan on having them long.
Got a bunch of these as gifts, worst idea ever. most of them broke in a couple of months or had serious audio quality degradation and they didn't sound great to start with. On top of that the battery life was like 2 or 3 hours I had to have three in rotation just to make it through my shift and they don't hold a charge either
Tldr:cheep and fragile in the worst ways
These aren't great headphones, even for the ~$7 I paid for them. They're usable, but not for any extended period of time, and you can tell what the sound coming out if them is, but they don't sound great.
