AFAIK Valjoux has always been cam operated. There's only one column wheel modification which is exclusive for Longines: https://watchbase.com/longines/caliber/l688-2 and then for Omega https://watchbase.com/omega/caliber/3330 I have on Longines with column wheel as well, and I don't really feel any noticeable difference with the pushers action 😅 Indeed I also have a (bargain) Bulova Accuswiss with a Valjoux and that one is the smoothest one of all my chronographs. So don't worry, grab a Valjoux or the Longines if you're after the column wheel variation. The feeling will be great on all ✅

I'm interested into watches with ETA Valjoux 7751 myself so I have a question: later production date movement has implemented a column wheel that makes actuation of start/stop/reset buttons easier. Does your copy of the Maurice Lacroix has a column wheel? Or do you have any concern / difficulty using the start/stop/reset buttons? I'm trying to figure out whether these latest "column wheels" are a must for an automatic chronograph. Thanks in advance for sharing! Best regards

You can't do that with the ⌚ because it lacks a 🌞🌛 indicator. Or the local 2️⃣4️⃣ hours 🖐🏻 as you . out. However, except if you're at the North Pole, the best approach is just to look out the window...
