These were the brand to have a few years ago, and people were paying their ridiculous asking prices. When you're spending $2K and above you have to consider whether a watch will look good in years to come. Graham's sadly will not.

True, this watch is oversize, it says clearly on the dial, although it's not the largest Swiss pilot watch that currently produced. Many aviation watches come in 48mm-55mm sizes. IWC, Breitling, Fortis, Bremont, B-Uhr, Hamilton ... all make them.
It is a long standing tradition of watchmakers to create large aviator watches since there is a market for them among military, commercial, sport and recreational pilots. It's going back to the first half of 20st century when watches were the only precise instruments pilots can rely upon. Also, many watch enthusiasts like to have these in their collections.
