Why does Drop not keep comments separate for each drop? I just replied to a comment posted for a completely different Hamilton drop back in August last year. And I believe the MSRP they are showing is also from that drop. This place just keeps getting more confusing all the time! They need to improve their Quality Assurance (if they have any) by three fold.
Cripes....this is Invicta-level price dishonesty.
Folks, MSRP on this, at Hamilton's web site, is 600 euros...so something like $730. Exchange rates are rather poor on the dollar right now.
But that's NOTHING like freaking $1900. The Broadway Autos list for 945 euros.
Is the asking price bad? Maybe not; sure, it might be available cheaper elsewhere, but $350 is not out of line. It's half retail. (Altho that assumes the MSRP is reasonable. That's debatable. The 955.122 movement isn't listed on ETA's web site; and, it's listed at Esslinger, Star Time Supply, and others. That says ETA doesn't care about it any more; they don't care who buys it.) OTOH, this smacks of final inventory closeout...so on that basis, the asking price is a pipe dream.
But asserting the full retail is almost 3x the actual MSRP is deceptive marketing.
I also agree that when the center section color is different from the rest of the dial, this is one seriously hideous watch. The monotone models...not sure. Pics don't look bad, but in the metal, I'd wonder.
And heck, an even worse comparison???? The Certina quartz models...also Swatch Group...have an MSRP of 400 euros; Jomashop has at least one model and they're asking $250. AND it's a Precidrive, so it's about 2 seconds a MONTH.
This one is a hard pass, and Drop should shut it down.

CraigLewisthe $1945 price is for the last drop which included the broadway automatic chronographs.
Droop is too lazy/stupid to edit their own listings or make new listings for new watches.
Thanks to those that noted this is a quartz movement. You are more observant than me. I have the Broadway GMT with an automatic movement. When I saw this price I thought that I had overpaid. Now I see - not so.
