Product Description
Blending aspects of pilot watches with aspects of dress watches, the Ingersoll New Orleans has a little bit of everything—just like the city it’s named after. The watch gets power from an automatic movement, which is clearly visible from the open heart at 6 o’clock on the dial Read More

Dropped the hammer ! White dial/tan strap on the way . I will do a review when it arrives .
What is the dial made of? It sort of looks like never mind, I know it's plastic. It looks so plastic that plastic looked at it and was like daaang, that thing is plastic.

You will have the largest Ingersoll collection in Australia. This one is quite interesting with its unusual complications, I prefer the white dial and tan strap. But just a little large for me. I did find a retailer in Brisbane and the prices were not cheap ,mainly around the $500 aud. mark. So buying from Drop is a good decision. All the best.

Thanks , I like my Ingersolls , wearing my Vickers today . I had a blardy Telstra bill arrive so I will have to check if I can justify the buy this week !!!

Now if it had a Harley-Davidson logo there instead of the open heart thing, I'd.. still not want one. I do like the design. Something about silver-on-silver-on-silver dial/case layouts that really appeals to me. And I don't know if it's just the photos, but legibility looks to be excellent on this piece. Just too big for us average-sized folk.

I like this, but why just 47 mm, if they make 42/40 mm it will be very attractive.

It may be ugly, but it's a lot more expensive on Amazon and just as ugly:

By the way, evidently Amazon includes a battery with theirs, so perhaps that explains the price difference? Also looks like their using the dimensions of the famous Ingersoll wooden box to describe the watch...

I know.
Ugh. Mineral. Don't know why I bother.

If you're looking for a good beater/work watch, I'd recommend paying more for a watch with sapphire and other abuse-ready features. For casual wear, mineral crystal is scratch-proof compared to plastic, and the only reason my cheap Casio's plastic crystal is scratched is I didn't take it off when my Saturday turned into ditch-digging day.
Not particularly. But at that alleged retail price I would certainly expect it. Thanks for letting me know on the Heimdallr, BTW.

This could look much better without open heart, and power reserve indicator at above 6'.And of course not 47mm,most of their watches is like a dinner plate 😏

Would also look better if a truck ran over it.
I think you pretty much mean a different watch.
