Mine arrived about a week ago, these are my new favorite IEM's. I am running them with a Xduo XDO5 Bal and a Fiio BTR7. The clarity and sound quality are impressive. So glad a took the plunge and bought them. My Sennheiser IE80's just don't sound a good anymore. If you are on the fence about getting these, get off and make the move. You won't regret it.
LGCiHi, just curious how possible it would be to get 4,380 points since the usual rate is 1 point per dollars spent? So even at their non-discounted price it would only be 599 points (3 points per dollar is only for Drop Studio products).
Or am I missing something?
Just wanna share that I have these paired with a Topping DX3 V2 and a Schiit Vali 2+ (JJ tubes) and they have the most lifelike vocals I have heard from headphones/IEMs. They scale very well with different DAC/Amps. At the current price it's an absolute bargain.
$219 for the FW1800 (ie FW1500 in Japan) which has the same drivers as the flagship FW10k, plus 4380 Drop Rewards points thrown in - that's not a deal, it's a steal.
ChasingedsingedLooks like the Drop points have been radically reduced. WTH didn’t even know they did that in the middle of an active run. Just a guess but Drop may be game theorycrafting this to incentivize people to go in earlier when a product run goes active - which should boost early purchase numbers and further activate subsequent buying? lol capitalism
Ordered mine here for $399 with Memorial Day $20 USD discount and $15 Drop rewards balance. Figured it was worth a shot for $364, and $75 Drop rewards earned to spend later. At 'only' $289, it's a $teal. ;-)
Will post updates after arrival.

Are these going to have the shirt clip? The fit on the similar FDX-1 is horrible without either putting over ear or (much simpler) a shirt clip. The over ear barely works anyway with that model. I see a JVC branded one which fits the special oval shaped rubber cable on their website, so hopefully this will include one.
That's all it would take to fix the fit, since a shirt clip would carry all the weight of the cable and prevent seal loss.
Frost17DI wasn't a huge fan of the HA-FDX1, it has a colder sound signature and carries less bass. I'd recommend the HA-FW1800 or HA-FW01, the wooden line has superior sound to me.
What does one have to do to get a response from Drop's support regarding this? I have contacted support twice and no response! I need help with my purchase please!
rhpot1991EDIT: They have reached out to me already. Thank you. Still took about a week to do so but at least they did well after they have communicated with me. Thanks again.
