Gotta love the drop higher than Amazon and such prices plus waiting a month plus. Amazon currently has the bamboo for $300 plus a 5% off coupon.

B&H Photo has them for $359.99
(Edited)
PalmiterIf they have them in stock, buying the speakers from B&H Photo or Amazon makes sense if you want them sooner. The advantage to buying here is the $35 store credit via 'Drop Rewards Points'.

I don't get this. When I joined my understanding was that Drop partners with manufacturers to lock-in lower than retail prices by reaching a minimum amount of orders thereby passing on the savings of economies of scale. This just looks like Drop is a regular online e-commerce reseller, and a more expensive one at that, at least here in Canada. $360US + shipping + customs would easily amount to over $500CAD, and these units are selling for $420-440CAD on other sites.

r2walterConcept have changed, started out as MassDrop and now have progressed to Drop.
JNL111"progressed" wouldn't be the term I use for it.

To be candid, I was speaking of another place and time, when when the original Massdrop existed and the site was helmed by people with expertise in their given communities, and who absolutely gave a damn about the place. Sadly, those days are l-o-n-g behind us. Even during their best days, MD seldom had the best prices--anyone who found better prices (myself included) generally purchased elsewhere, with Amazon often being the no-brainer, better choice. Obviously I haven't purchased anything here since the place went to straight hell, but I occasionally check back to survey the wreckage, and to reply to comments--whether directed at me or not. Force of habit I suppose?

RayFHahah I would agree. I come back here when I missed out on a Dwarf Factory group buy on their site. But my biggest joy was finding @Zambumon MT3 Serika R2 keycaps on group buy! For some absurd reason Amazon will not ship @MiTo 9009 to my address, so here I am on Drop again in the gb. In love with his legends.
