Effortlessly combining aspects of a gentleman’s knife with those of a tactical folder, the Flashbang Vanguard makes an impression—just like the disorienting tool it’s named after. It’s got a blade made from VG-10, a high-carbon-content steel manufactured in Japan, plus a G-10 handle to give you a secure hold. The blade’s shape is rather unique, sporting a large recurve that aids in pulling material into it. To open the knife, give a push on the jimped flipper tab. It rotates open with ease and locks thanks to a liner inside the scales. A tip-up clip facilitates carry on the right side.
